When my husband and I decided to build a new home, I had a lot of questions.  Villa Amoruso and The Villa View Blog is a compilation of what I've learned, tips, ideas, and inspiration...hoping that I can help with your questions, share ideas, inspire and be inspired by others!

Oh, I'm Maria.  I'm a wife, mom (including a dog mom to my Bernese Mountain dog, Stella), and grandmom.

My style is a rustic/glam mix (but I love other styles too). I love to see lots of wood & stone coupled with glam items such as silver side tables, crystal chandeliers or brushed gold accents. Finding one or two unique items (think antique door handles or a dark green velvet chair) is a plus.

In addition to my love of decor, I also love photography, wine, travel, and my full-time gig as chief marketing officer at a regional bank.
